Our home in Kallo
Our operation is built for the first time at our own location — a place where the dogs live and everyday life unfolds. Our address is Ruonanmaantie 25, 99120 Kallo. This environment offers a peaceful and authentic setting where Arctic sled dogs thrive year-round, also during the warm summer months.
During the summer months, when the safari season is over, the dogs enjoy a well-deserved rest. The kennel area is designed to give each dog space, shelter and shade. We care for our dogs year-round with attention to their health, nutrition and wellbeing.
Arctic sled dogs – perfectly suited to Lappish conditions
It is important to us to use Arctic sled dogs, which are excellently suited for the demanding winter conditions of Finnish Lapland. A thick undercoat and strong working motivation make them reliable partners for dog sledding trips.
The dogs are friendly and affectionate towards people. During the summer, the kennel is calm and the dogs enjoy the long days outdoors in their familiar home environment.
Our huskies are part of our family. Each dog has its own personality, and we know them all by name. Visitors to the kennel can see firsthand how the dogs interact with each other and with people — curious, social and eager to be part of the pack.
